Definitely a tricky choice this one. Both games have plenty to look forward to on paper.

Think I might go for Italy vs Ireland, purely because Italy have made 8 changes - a great chance for the Irish.

In my head you're saying that in that bloke who used to do the Barrratts adverts voice. Sounds good. Or maybe him who did the Carlsberg ads years ago.

    Ted Moult.

    Everest Double Glazing.

"You only fit double glazing once, so fit the best, fit Everest".

    It's all about gravitas, y'ken?

    This might be painful.......

I'm happy if we get our first shot on target for this tournament

If it's the one shot that knocks out the ROI I'll be happy too.

Keane goes on about needing players to get stuck in, take a card, even a red, if its for the team. Tackle hard and have balls.

    Then leaves Meyler out.

    For that, he can GTF.

    Irish ****.

Fair play to the Irish they are giving it a good go, though they need to score one whilst they are on the front foot.

No draughts ‘cos that’d be daft
    A feather acknowledges Newton
And a ball and chain let loose on the pane
    Can only smash your nerves
    In the hibernating season
Fit the best, it stands to reason
    No complaining where it’s raining
    Thanks to Mr Moult, wahey!

    Genius.

Wait a minute - if the official behind the line saw Long get hit in the head as the replay would suggest - surely it's a penalty?

There was a short time I used to substitute "Rain, shine or gale force nine his frames remain intact" with "Rain, shine or gale force nine his brains remained intact"

    You're right, genius.

I'm listening to Achtung Bono whilst watching the football, it's almost perfection.
