If you watched the Croatia game last night and how quickly they moved the ball, then look at the way we moved the ball, we looked like walking football.
If someone can't get something right in four years, they'll never get it right, your suggestion that he hasn't been given enough time is quite simply bollocks.
yes so like I say......... lets chop and change.................... OK so who is your manager waiting in the wings to come in?
To suggest he hasn't had enough time is laughable. He's been in charge of England for 4 years ffs. I love it when you do the 'well who would you have instead' argument instead of actually defending Woy.
It is a really **** argument. I think there's a decent argument for keeping Woy though, until we see what happens in this Tournament at least. He's played the kids like everyone was demanding for years. Now he plays them people want them dropping. England managers can't win.
People are complaining about players how shouldn't be there such as Henderson, Wilshere and Sterling. The 'kids' such as Alli and Dier are playing and nobody is complaining. Actually, come to think of that - how many 'kids' are there actually playing? Only Dier and Alli by my count. Rashford had a brief cameo against Wales, that's it. Barkley and Stones haven't been on the pitch at all yet. And don't say Sterling - everyone thinks he shouldn't be there apart from the owl in charge. The real complaints are the tactical decisions made by Woy. Such as making six changes in a must win game, or making defensive changes when 1-0 up - something everyone on here complains about Bruce doing for City.
The media seem to be hinting that the FA see Hodgsons failure to win the group as a monumental cock-up. For me he was acting as if we had 6 points instead of 4, plus we didn't need to rest players with a significant gap between games, add that to the fact that Rooney and Alli expended energy anyway so how rested were they in the end, probably not at all. Russia have proven to be the worst team in the tournament and his defensive tactics in that match cost us the game, not to mention that we should have probably battered them anyway with the benefit of hindsight
When we brought Alli and Rooney on we looked less likely to score. Hardly suggests the 'first' XI would have made much difference does it? Spain made 0 changes and they lost. If he'd not rested anyone and we'd got injuries people would moan.
thought stones was on the pitch against russia. although he was largely anonymous in that game, so I can see why you missed him.
