It's the season finale, coming in at 69 minutes, so there is going to be a lot of stuff going on. There will certainly be a huge cliffhanger. What do you think it will be? The Wall falling? Cersei blowing up Kings Landing with wildfire? Discovery of more dragons? We'll soon find out.
Good episode but some niggles. Why did Rickon just run in a straight line? Why didn't Sansa tell Jon about the Knights of the Vale? Happy to let Jon go into battle against superior numbers with superior equipment (armour and Shields against furs)? Why was the giant happy to just grab at spears when up against the shield wall, why not just step over or on? Did someone mention that early trailers showed Brienne fighting a Ice Warrior so have that to look forward to.
I think the death shot was fairly ridiculous too even if he wasn't zigzagging, much more likely he would have wounded him if even hit him at all. Saying that I'm not an Archer
I do love that with all the ridiculousness and fantasy within GoT such as returning from the dead, supernatural death monsters and real-life giants and dragons, the reality problem is 'why didn't he run in a zig-zag?'
I assume he means it shouldn't have had the force to go through his chest. But he wasn't that far away so it probably would have.
It definitely had enough force to go through his chest. I think you underestimate the force and speed that arrow will be going at.
Funny how suspension of disbelief works. We can accept strange creatures, both in the natural and the supernatural, but we can't accept humans acting more stupidly that we normally do.
Plus Ramsay had a double limbed bow. Don't know if that makes it any more powerful but worth mentioning. Clearly didn't watch Ozymandias.
