Apparently Mancini says he's happy to see us taking him on loan for the season. The major stumbling bloke would be the wages but I cannot imagine Man City's rich owner even noticing if they paid half his wages.

I suspect that another EPL club will step in before the end of August and buy him outright but if not, would you like to see him back at Celtic?

"I (Mancini) met Craig two days ago at Carrington. I spoke with him for 10 minutes. It was a friendly conversation - everything was normal.

He told me something I want to keep to myself. What I said two days ago was that if Celtic want Craig, he is a good player and I think he can go."

I wonder what it was he said.

He is rumoured to be on £80k a week - so even at half price i doubt we can afford him

And if we have £40k a week to pay someone - id rather we paid a keeper

PS that said id take Bellamy after we get a decent keeper if he can stay fit

To be honest Celtic really can't afford to be paying one player £40k + a week on a loan deal.

    We probably cant afford it

But Dermot Desmond can - and he has put his hand in his pocket before (keanes) so you never though

BUt if we can pay it - it could go to better use

He's only available between 60 and 70% of the time so but the experience that he give to Hooper and Stokes could be a big help. Non of this staying is wales pish, he needs to be fully committed or not at all.

Pedro Mendes, doesn't know road lay out within 50 mile of his house.
However he knows Celtic cannot afford a player £40,000 per week. Really Pedro, is your whole life
based on knowledge building of Celtic Football Club. I would have thought as a staunch loyalist you
when you were not building on your limited (sorry very limited knowledge of the Queen's Highways within
50 miles of home ), you may have spent time working on the Rangers budget to find out why Sally did
not get her hands on Goodewillie who she was licking her lips at the prospect of getting her hands on it
    all last weekend.

Well can you? Your wage bill is £36m and you've got no Champions League football again this season.

    That's exactly my point.

I don't know. Unlike you I don't know every single thing about the way my club is run.

If I need to know anything about the machinations of Celtic FC in future I'll be sure to ask you.

Cardiff didn't pay his full wages last year so we would be looking at a similar deal, he was up for coming last time except Cardiff came in for him and he wanted to play for his boyhood club so we missed out.

Can't see what clubs would come in for him tbh, Man City wont sell him to club hunting european places they don't want to improve their rivals.

Mancini could just be spouting this to try and get someone to come in with a bid so he can get rid of Bellamy forever!
