I agree with this, Madrid, Milan and Paris fans will all be adjusting their tv sets to watch Sunderland. They will all be tuning in to see the ever so charismatic Big Sam give his tactial and astute tv interviews. Fans will be dying to see if Lee Catermole's shorts can get any higher! and most importantly, they will be counting the amount of off pink seats in your stadium on a match day!!!
Pleased you agree Toon Man, but it is just what happens when you are among the elite of English football ,You should not be too critical of the TV companies like everyone they have to show a profit and the lower divisions are just not conducive to that ,I have no doubt that with the manager you have there is no fear of you being relegated again next season and with a bit of luck in two or three years back among the elite , chin up
I would be surprised if any other nations are bothered by the championship at all, I know I only barely follow it generally. As for France, well they hardly even follow their own top flight so why would they follow ours? Premiership, Bundesliga, La Liga, Championship and Serie A in order of most watched in Europe.
