I expect we'll hear more later this week, but things are looking very bleak for Jimmy here now. If he truly is a football man he'd be a fool to stay here and he should be trying to find anyway possible to get a club to take him on, which includes meeting their wage demands. It's a shame it has come to this, but the way we've performed during pre season it's not like the heart will have being ripped out the team.

Yes - and I think the Club has done the right thing in keeping him away, a) to avoid his disruptive influence; and b) to make sure (as you say) he's not missed.

Sounds like it's just got to be negotiated now.....

Such a waste of a talented footballer but he clearly has no respect for the club or its fans and i Quote "I just want to play football" no you dont Jimmy we all wished you did, we can not blame Jimmy for the contract because who would not have signed it but we can certainly bemoan your disgraceful behaviour and morals.

Time to do as you say and go play football somewhere else as we can only wish you had played football here and not your childish misdemeanors.

I can't see it happening, but it would be so sweet if the club are able to sack this complete turd of a man.

to be honest sacking Jimmy is probably what he wants, personally I think we should fine him as much as legally is possible and make him train hard with the youth team for the rest of his contract. We don’t need him, the moral and spirit of the team appears to be great at the moment why do we want this clown ruining it.

I know someone who has just started working for city and he said that one thing he gathered very quickly is that every one of the plays hates Jimmy.

But the youth team are the future of our club, hopefully. If he trains with them then he's only going to be a disruptive influence and it could harm their development. I very much doubt he wants to be sacked as that wouild mean no pay off for him, if he wanted to be sacked he would just tear up the contract and sack himself!

That must be one of the main considerations in telling him to stay away. I reckon that in building a team up, NP wants to instil an ethos - it seems apparent in the way the players are, on field - and he definitely will not tolerate an arsehole sabotaging his work.

completely agree, change my master plan to make him train on his own, he could be supervised by Barmby who could work him mercilessly to try drum some professionalism into him. I was under the assumption that if a club sacked a player they still had to pay him the remaining wages he would have earnt, or at last a proportion of it? If that’s not the case than why don’t we just sack him for being grossly unprofessional and a dick?

We will be trying to sack him but the PFA are there to protect the players so we need to know what we are doing and City's solicitors will have been working tirelessly 4 the last couple of weeks trying to find loopholes. Lets see what this statement is

His suspension has just been extended a bit, we're no closer to the end.

I would hope a statement isn't just to announce an extension of suspension

No good putting him with the kids like has been said already, and also Coops and Cairney were influenced by him and some of the other mercenaries brought in by Brown and Duffen, its only now that Cairney has got himself back together, wouldn't want the likes of him near impressionable young footballers, this is the twenty-first century, the likes of Deano pissing it up and getting away with it are the stuff of history now, the games changed.

Couldnt agree more. I bet the Allams are doing all they can to get rid without another penny of there money being wasted on JB. 2 weeks wages saved already ? they do right in keeping him away. Things could not be much better at the moment. Just a shame that Macca is injured and Hobbs Simpson and Mclean have had niggles.
