    Rubbish!!

Soros, I and others are telling you what WILL happen, you just choose not to listen.!
I don't know why I'm bothering, you've obviously already decide to vote leave.
I can only hope that the folly of the leave campaign is recognized by the British people and rejected. The consequences for the economy are dire indeed, if they do not.

He's expressing his opinion, not the statement of fact that you keep selling it as. He's got it wrong before, as have some of the others offering similar opinions. Let's face it, we've paid a lot of money to the financial industry to bail them out from their previous **** ups.

You also ignore the fact that he's also predicting the demise of the EU, but not including that longer term element in his short term prediction. Assuming he's right on both, the economy will collapse in both scenarios. Will we be better placed by being further down the road. and not burdened by being yoked to a reduced Europe, or by being tied in to agreements to help bankrupt countries?

You can't pick and choose which predictions you use because they suit your own opinion, you need to look wider.

The EU we remain in, won't be the existing one, it HAS to change. There'll be pain either way. I feel we're better placed by fighting our own corner, and I believe that gives us more opportunity to help others. Policies related to George's groups and the EU are currently adding to suffering in a fair few quarters. I'd prefer to have more of a say in that.

IF the EU was to change, big time, I would be happy to stay in it, but its not going to happen.

Better out and sit and watch the boat sink, than be on it.

Surely that's the whole crux of the argument; stay in this time, demand and contribute to reform and then bail out if we're not listened to/reform doesn't happen. But bail out with a Brexit plan in place, which currently isn't the case.

I think the EU will breathe a huge sigh of relief if we stay in and will be prepared to renegotiate to keep us in long term.

There is a lot of hysteria spouted about how we have no independence as part of the EU and that we are dictated to by Brussels. We don't even have the euro.

but we cant reform, we are just 1 of 28 and the other 27 dont want change, so why bother, better out and run our own show, then people power of other EU countries will force a referedum for them and the the EU will fall and it can start again.

You don't get it do you? The EU CAN'T Fail. It won't be allowed to!!

If the EU disintegrated, it would take the whole global economy with it!!
Do you realise how many trillions are involved??

If the EU ever falls apart, we're all ****ed.

It can fail and it will (as we know it) the southern EU countries are on the brink, France is nearly dead, that will leave Germany to hold it all up and the people of Germany will not tolerate that.

If the EU fails the global economy is ****ed which is what all the foreign leaders and central economic bodies have reiterated and the reason why global markets dipped when Leave gained momentum.

Even if we aren't in the EU we will suffer if it fails. At least by being in we have the opportunity to influence and reform it.

It's incredibly naïve to think that if we walk away we won't be impacted by what happens to the EU in the future.

A hell of a price to pay just to get the darkies out!

Out of curiosity, regarding the big business and finance houses (that have failed so expensively and brought us here), that some seem to selectively quote from, does anyone think they work for the common good as opposed to their own self interest?
