The entire Liverpool contingent let England down badly. Woy needs to play our best players, not our mid-tabled plodders who managed to pass only amongst themselves (before giving the ball away)
The only way Woy can rescue this tournament now, after needlessly and weirdly taking three steps backwards last night in ****ing up his centre midfield, is by reverting back to his 'first team' (i.e., the patently unfit Jack Wilshere and the patently not good enough Jordan Henderson be droppped, preferably forever) and sticking with them so they can build some form and a modicum of momentum. We need to beat whoever we get in the next round by more than a spawny last minute shined in effort so that the team goes into the quarters (if we get there) with form and confidence. Otherwise France, as it will probably be them, will humiliate us. The team that ended the match yesterday was an utter mess of players playing out of position not knowing what or where the **** they are supposed to be going or doing.
Dropping six players for a game they needed to win was the ultimate sign that Roy has no idea what he is doing with the team. He wants to please everyone. HE needs a first eleven that shouldn't be changing like weather.
I would argue that it's four players, not six. Sturridge and Vardy ended the Wales game well, it would have been wrong to bring back Sterling and Kane. It was at CM where it mattered. The actual hub of the team. Insane. I actually thought both Clyne and Lallana played well. What was doubly bizarre was when he took off Lallana, leaving Henderson on ffs, to bring on Alli but push Rooney forward and Sturridge wider. He lost the plot at that time, utterly clueless.
So, Spain finishing second means they drop into England's half of the draw. IF we get past the next round and IF we somehow get past France then Germany, Italy or Spain will be waiting in the semi final. Bravo Woy. ****ing great plan. Wales on the other hand have by the look of it a worst case scenario of Belgium in the quarters. Who they can definitely beat.
It's mental he's still trying claim he has no regrets over the decision. I find that extremely worrying.
You win your group, then you piss about with the team if you must. That's how these groups work, coming first helps, ask Arsene Wenger or Pellegrini! Woy is a halfwit for not seeing that.
Once you reach the semi or final, yes. But don't you think it's beneficial to avoid them in the earlier rounds? Obviously.
True, all those Liverpool players will need a long holiday to prepare for a gruelling European campai...oh wait, never mind.
Without the Liverpool players at Euro 2016 we'd be on a plane home by now... and you'd be left cheering for sheep shaggers.
Iceland population 330,000. No professional football teams in Iceland. England are a joke. It's just a shame for the Neanderthals who "support" England that they're going to struggle to blame a United player for this one.
Probably. I don't care anyway. I lost interest in England FC years ago. Too many of the fans who follow them around and embarrass the country are utter ****s.
When did we sign Joe Hart? *just read it properly, should have my specs on* There is ALWAYS blame Rooney.
