I'm going to finish my posting on this subject (I know I started it). I made it clear from the initial post, the issue is NOT about people expressing their views, however much I and many others detest everything about their views, it was about the media using a picture of the person who expressed the offending views, wearing a Leeds United shirt. I don't know where all of you lot come from, but where I live, Leeds fans have a dreadful reputation for being mindless thugs, who tend to have right winged views. I hate it, and I'm sure I'm not alone on this, hence I would suggest the club would not want to be associated (even if it wasn't their fault) with this bloke and his political views. I suggested that the club try to ban the use of this photo in the media, as they have every right to keep the image of the club, only being used as they see fit. I know the club have acted and will deal with the media as they know they can, as for the bloke himself, I just feel pity for him, he's from a world I don't understand and don't want to understand. As for banning him from the club, I doubt the club can or would, otherwise it would set a precedent for banning all political views that don't go along with those held by Ken Bates and co. As for putting the article on this forum, I've thought about it and decided that sending the article to the club is sufficient. I'm sure some people on here will know this guy and his opinions, I reckon that's enough and let's allow the club to deal with it, the way they wish.
