Not the strikers they are good, but Henderson is not so good, he cant shoot and runs around like a headless chicken

So it's just the changes in midfield that are not great but you should have enough to beat them eaily enough.

I think that over simplifying things, Gonz. They might be two slightly better full backs defensively, if you feel you need to play that way. But no doubt in my mind that Walker & Rose are two of the finest attacking full backs anywhere.

    Isn't that exaggerating things slightly?

No, I don't think so. Attack wise there aren't many better...

... ooooooh you've done it now <laugh> .... I'h have preferred a fit Luke Shaw if I'm honest ... he was just getting into his pomp when he picked up that horrific injury ... one of the best attacking full back displays I've seen in recent years was him away at Villa for Saints .... admittedly Villa were no great shakes but Shaw was fantastic on the day ....

Rose is a good player both in attack and defence Bertrand though is at a different level imo and one of the best full backs in Europe Rose may have the edge going forward but on overall play Bertrand is a different level.

Walker is a runner, his positioning is ****, technically he's terrible and he's not even that good going forward, you should get rid and so should England.

Disagree about Walker. As did the pro pundits at the Beeb who made him MOTM against Wales.

I agree he's no great shakes defensively, but going forward he's a very useful weapon.

For the future, possibly. TBH, I don't think we've seen enough of him at international level to judge...

I think if we are talking anywhere then neither come close to the likes of Alba, Bellerin, Lahm (when he plays FB), Alves ect

So he's sort of useful going forward against Wales, he's not good at all. As soon as he comes up against any quality he'll get done big time.

Walker to attack. Clyne to defend. Simple.

The fact the position is a defender, I'd personally always pick the one that can defend <laugh>

But, but modern football, wing backs, attacking play, width, what will we do with these defenders that can't defend?

.. I also think Juanfran is vastly underrated ... thought him and Felipe Luiz were fantastic for Atletico this season ...

    Send them to Italy?

Probably why they have great defenders and always have... we've been sending ours there and they're adding 'i' to the end of their name.

I'd disagree, again. Lahm is past his sell by. And going forward for 90 mins, as they've done for England, they're as good as any of the others..
