Spoiler: why not? Ifhey gave you that at the start how would you follow it up. they built up to it. Ultimately the river run part is a part of next years story which is why it felt weak now but now we've arya coming home for next year and this sets up many stories. I felt that it did borrow very heavily form a couple of battles.... Look at alexander the great v Darius at Issus and Hannibal and cannae. At issue alexander rides off and leaves his phalanxes really exposed and under heavy threat.. Botom shoots barrage after barrage into his own cavalry to slaughter them. willing to sacrifice anything for vitory. Then the surrounding of the stark side with a shield wall is classic cannae with 50,000 romans got slaughtered. If felt the first person camera angle with snow made the whole thing. guys coming one way the the other, from behind... utter chaos. guys dies left and right. then the press (what was nasty for me) super work. The final scene was really just desserts and handed out by sansa was classic. I did feel however the vale arriving looked a wee bit like lord of the rings the tiwn towers ending and wasn't as good as the earlier work. Iit felt like ok get this done in 30 seconds we've better coming. Must watch again deffo.
Spoiler: have to question If they saved the graphical throat rip for this why did they not let last weeks episode really start the carnage. hope it wasn't just to have us gagging for wanten slaughter.
expected news: http://www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/top-gear-ratings-plummet-further-8234778 Top gear ratings down to 2.3million which is offically worst ever. It seems a rather confused article given 2.4-2.3million is not 700,000 viewers so there may be some figure for viewing form start and at end i dunno
Spoiler: GoT spoils of thrones Absolutely Jon left him for Sansa to finish off as she wished. He got his basically. Good that it showed Jon as ultra-hard though. He might be a bit emotional but as a fighter he's hard as fook, that came across. Ramsey slighted Jon and Sansa by killing Rickon and the wolf so Jon got to beat the **** out of him, but Sansa still wanted revenge for him raping and torturing her so round 2 was necessary in the dungeon Wonder what will happen with littlewanger, he's got himself in a great position there, Sansa can't really touch him since he commands the Vale and they saved Jon's ass There was no hope for Rickon since he got captured was there, you could see how that would play out coming like a big fecking giant basically, an arrow to the heart right as Snow was about to sweep him up. It was quick for him, which is something. That bit afterwards with Davos begging him not to go was funny, but his blood was up understandably Then the giant himself, he did what was required, took a **** load of punishment and got them into Winterfell. I did think he could've been causing more destruction to the Bolton's shields, didn't really seem to be doing that much, like could've swept an entire line of them up with his leg or something. Snow didn't get his look of recognition goodbye with him because of the arrow through his eye - that's the harsh reality of war for ya, giants don't go in for that pussy **** anyway Loved Tormund fighting it out with their main warrior yeah even as they were both getting crushed, he's an awesome character and deserves better than dying in some crush at the hands of a second-rate fighter The Meereen stuff was very good too. Was surprised and glad to see the Greyjoys have already made it and liked Yara's 'I'm up for anything' line. Very good. Daenarys looking FAF as well and quite keen on a bit of lesbos action from the look she gave Next week the wildfire has been hinted at so could get King's Landing burning. Doubt it though. It will most definitely be set up for the same pattern next season Anyway episode deserves a rewatch later Geek out over
Spoiler: fisticuffs Haha same here mate Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! was my reaction I seem to remember as those gloved fists rained down. With my own fist pumps True. Ramsay was an awesome villain and Iwan Rheon did amazing things with the role. But that was the end point of his story
Spoiler: Got next week the offical HBO trailer shows littlewang. won't say more.... its going to be interesting. I think what you have also seen is sir davos find the pyre where the girl ogt it and he now knows so this is going to be very very interesting. This is a point of conflict. I agree on the giant. there was one point where and entire sction had their long pikies lifted high and not one single wildling got under there and get after them That was karstark getting his with tormund. He was there at the end. he didn't get it... no? The greyjoy lesbo slut was licking blondie **** and the blonde was loving it...
So this is pretty awful. Horrible way to go. Remember him being good in the Star Trek reboot http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-36572649
Spoiler: did you feel teased? must've had you gagging for it. all hot n wet waiting for the moment to come.... nasty nasty people..
Spoiler: aswordofspoilers Tormund goes with Jon into Winterfell and is watching him beat Bolton. Oh right didn't twig it was Karstark Would've preferred the giant to take out like a whole section, for Snow's lot to break through out of the kettle, be having something of a limited comeback and then for the Vale to come and make the save, at least would've made Jon look a bit stronger Yeah Davos looking back towards Melisandre after finding Sheereen's stag toy was v foreboding, the way the sky was on fire as well. Definitely more to come on that point. He is pissed (but suppressing it because of, y'know, war) Haven't seen the preview. Got work and life etc to get on with. Will watch at lunch. The whole story now seems to be about women assuming power and men becoming their emotional bitches, Jon with his 'feelings' under Sansa, Jaime with his 'feelings' under Cersei, Danaerys and Yara and Theon under them with his 'feelings', Brienne, Arya
I thought the first season was great but its been declining since. The Third season was quite poor imo but I'm hoping the fourth will be more like the first two.
