Normally I would agree with your statement, but look at the picture they are all mostly young MEN, young men that should stay and fight ISIS, we would stay and fight if it were us.

Its an invasion not people running from war (some yes) The men must be sent back to save Syria, the Women and Children can come until its safe, then they must go back.

The war in Syria is a multi-sided conflict. Whose command has Custard decided that the people in that image should be fighting ISIS under? It's not quite as simple as going to your local conscription office to sign up for Queen and Country.

The fact that the Leave campaign is now distancing itself from Farage reinforces the fact that UKIP's supporters aren't pro-Leavers, they are anti-foreigners.

Brexit is just a platform and way to get the darkies and smellies out.

 

End of the day the Brexiters have an agenda. They aren't bothered about economics or quality of life. They just see Brexit for what it is....white collar crime to achieve their aims.

The message I get from that picture, is that there are a lot of vulnerable people, that can't make the journey to escape, that are now in terrible conditions and with less fit and healthy people around to help them. Sadly, the resources available are diluted when they have to be diverted to deal with people that cross many safe havens and suitable cultures to reach our shores.

It shows a failing in global and EU policy. Voting to remain will enable a continuation of the existing policies and suffering.

I think it's a **** campaign for either side to use such suffering as a political tool and a piss poor reflection on humanity.

I feel fortunate to live here, and at this time. It's not something I've achieved or deserved, it's an accident of birth.

 

100% agree, which is why I think it's wrong to turn our collective backs on people less fortunate and decide that it's not our problem because we were luckier.

Absolutely. But I see our open boarders as a part of the problem, not a part of the solution. It tackles symptoms, and ignores the causes.

It's an act of desperation to leave loved ones behind, to try to come here in the hope that can result in helping those back home. If the resources were used to help their homelands, it could benefit far more people and reduce their suffering.

 

Leaving the EU won't stop the illegal immigrants finding a way in to the UK. When discussing this, the emphasis in the term illegal immigrant is on the word illegal.

We need better border controls and we're more likely to achieve that by working with the EU. If we leave the EU what will be the incentive for the French government to help control the flow of immigration from the Jungle in Calais into the UK? They may as well open the doors to the Chunnel and send the problem to their non-EU partner, the UK.
