still not sure which way to vote. I feel Leave may be better for the country, but I don't want to live in England forever anyway.
Well it is officially registered to Not606 but I doubt the site would release it to concerned members. It's one thing that has come to my mind, a few times, about looking out for fellow posters, and the only thing I've come up with is that the mods are trusted with a database of members emails and mobile [or landline if you prefer] phone numbers. It would be kept entirely private for all but the personal contact of members who have submitted their details and would be OK to be contacted if fellow posters started to become concerned. It would only include members who wanted to be included. When a moderator stops being a moderator, that person stops keeping the info and passes it on the the next. So there should always a method of making sure someone is OK. Believe me, I've witnessed the disappearance of forum members first hand at SF and TSW. BTW, I know you're back Fran. You had a few people here a little concerned.
My new grand daughter turned up just after 4 today, am now having a little tiny drinkie to celebrate, followed by several large ones to keep it company.
Thanks Dave, my son told me they'd decided to have a good baby so won't have any problems . I think he was joking, but you can never tell with the naivety of the young.
Anton Yelchin, the Russian-born actor who played Chekov in the new Star Trek films, has been killed by his own car at his home in Los Angeles, police say. It struck him after rolling backwards down the steep drive at his Studio City home, pinning him against a brick postbox pillar and a security fence. Sad news. Really enjoyed his role in the new Star Trek films.
Oh crikey. I was going to tell you that the coast was clear because Chekov was played by Walter Koenig, but you wrote NEW Star Trek films. That's a shame. Just a youngster.
