The dude that killed Cox didn't even shout "Britain first" there were 3 witnesses 2 were misquoted and since explained that he said no such thing. The other claims he may have shouted "Put Britain First". Exactly a week before the referendum when the outers look to be gaining momentum . Call me cynical but it seems too convenient and drastically changes public opinion. If you Vote leave you may as well have stuck the knife in and shot poor Mrs Cox yourself you racist murderers etc etc.
And it seems to have changed some people's mind. Or made people vote stay who wouldn't have bothered their arse voting at all.
