    They would have to be offering ridiculous wages to tempt him into signing for them. He may well go this summer for big money but I can't see him going to anybody not in european competition unless they are going to offer him Rooney wages.

    Random question to the group, but one I'm quite curious about. Is there another team in world football that get's poached as much as Saints have been over recent times? This isn't being critical of the board as I actually have complete confidence in them, but on the eve of Waynama (finally) going to spuds, it is amazing how many of our players we've lost to teams that (you would like to think) are our rivals for a top 4/6 finish.

    No, there simply is not. But, we have a foundation that makes our components look very good, so in a way its to be expected. As long as we command the right price, I don't have a problem.........except if its spurs buying...... <laugh>.

    We have the advantage of not having to sell to other countries (because they have less money). I imagine a lot of Spanish/Italian fans feel like this about the Premier League.
