What a monumental performance from England, the defence was awesome,Haskell and Robshaw were outstanding again. Jones is a genius !
True, but if Jones stays until the next one, just think that with him in charge and another 3 years to build upon what we've already got, what a fantastic chance we have of lifting the trophy. I'm so excited about what the future holds for this group of players under his tutelage !
Just noticed that there is a Lions tour of New Zealand next summer. If England keep up the type of improvement we have seen this year, who would bet against English players dominating that squad, especially the forwards. Of course, All Blacks v Lions is a magical event in itself, but could be a useful side effect of giving a significant number of England players another excellent opportunity to test themselves and prepare for Japan.
All depends who they pick as coach, it would be a long-shot to have Jones in charge of that squad but you never know...
Ok, ok ............... I'm still hurting so be nice to me. I guess l must do the right thing and congratulate you all. Until we meet again ........... Very well done, England.
Dear Kiwi, the All Blacks would still be on the boat waiting to get clearance to come in to our beautiful country. Of course, I would be stamping their passports, 'Request Denied, No Entry' whilst I reached for the George Dickel Bourban, hic!
Cracking first half, Oz look determined but England giving it a go. Replacements could be the key in the second half...
