Just looked on sky for a film tonight... Found this.. Day 170, film 170," as good as it gets". Haven't seen this in a while but from recollection It was very good, carnt beat a bit of jack Nicholson..
Saw Conjuring2, unfortunately at The Odeon, Jesus that cinema needs a refurb, two and a half hours of discomfort, plus I spilled my ****ing popcorn! I found the film to be average. 7/10
average is 5 , and id give Conjuring 2 a 4 , im just back from the torture of the cinema :/ my main problem was the disjointed pace to the movie & the cor blimey London accents . The movie intro (Amityville recap) was a much better stylisation that the rest of the movie , which was basically Slamming doors , thunder , moving chairs and a rocking chair . it just wasnt jumpy , creepy or engaging ... the strange Accents and random music saw to that 4/10
Tomorrow's film is gonna be "triple 9", been told it's good, And also that it's crap, will see for myself....
Just watched V for Vendetta Excellent film, and considering it's 11 years old it seems extremely relevant still Great imagery with the Guy Fawkes masks which were then used by Anonymous
I have never understood why people take note of a critic's opinion about anything. These people are put on pedestals but they're not somehow qualified to tell you what is good and what is ****. Most critics stumbled into it after being given the gig as a junior reporter because nobody else wanted to do it, then all of a sudden their opinion is gospel.
Now then, should I believe your opinion of critics? I love the way you hold yourself beyond critique and lash it out everywhere else.
Eye in the Sky was my film for last night, very good even if it did get a bit frustrating at times, especially the ****ing woman in the war room! 8/10 London Has Fallen on the other hand really pissed me off, which is quite an achievement when the film has Morgan Freeman in it. There were some good special effects but the lead actor just seemed like an American James Bond wannabe, if I never see that ****er again in a movie it'll be too soon. 4/10
I also wanted to punch the stupid PC bitch, save one girl and let 80+ die, who's to say young girls or even babies could be in that 80+, loved the way Mr Rickman shot her down right at the end.....think it was his last film before his death......RIP..
London has fallen ??? Isn't that Gerard butler ??? Think hes ****ing scotish or irish, carnt remember which. Not seen it myself sounds a waste of leccy !!!
A very Scottish, Gerard Butler, who clearly out acted LBIA's pick up skills. I thought it was a good action film, although far fetched.
I watched The Revanant last night, a bit of a far fetched story, but brilliantly filmed. DiCaprio is brilliant in it, but I'm a bit sick of seeing Tom Hardy mumble his way through films. Definitely well worth a watch.
I thought it was so bad it made great comedy. Genuinely hilarious at times. --- I watched the first two episodes of American Crime Story last night thinking it was a new series of American Crime. It wasn't and it was nowhere near as good. Watchable though as I had previously let most of the detail about the O.J. Simpson case pass me by.
Watching today's film early as I've got England at 8, then GOT catch up... Day 172,film 172," pulp fiction"... Bloody love this film, got it out of my lads collection.... What a great days viewing... And a few tinnies to go with them...... My cup runneth over today
I like gratuitous violence, it was cathartic and yes, some of it was funny, even if it wasn't intended.
Jesus H ****ing Christ what a nights viewing, great film followed by footie( least said about that the better) and then last but no means least Game Of Thrones, which in my humble opinion was ****ing brilliant !!!!! Go on the bastards !!!!!! Great episode !!!
