But it's not though, it was all of them. The government is more just Cameron. Gove and Boris was right with him as well <laugh>

Why shouldn't Brits who have paid in tens, if not hundreds of thousands of pounds in tax during their working lives be allowed to vote. Most people who have retired abroad are actually saving the NHS millions of pounds because they just don't get ill so often

Because he holds a different opinion to Blueman. As do most ex-pats. If they were all voting to leave he'd be all for them voting. I kid you not.

Ex-pats shouldn't get a vote and neither should foreigners living in the UK.

    Go figure!

Why don't you fly back to the UK and use the free NHS service that you contributed to funding when you were paying your dues in the UK? Shame on you!

They want to vote out to "take back democracy in this country"..... unless you hold a different opinion to them. Then they don't want democracy <doh>

And if you take that view to the extremists, they'll knife and shoot you for good measure.

The level of care in NHS is still miles better than private treatment in this country.

The health care system here, well all of it locally to me anyway, is pure 21st century. Clean modern hospitals, no ong waits to be seen,,etc. . They really seem to care here, my wife had a small bout of cancer, they wouldn't let her go until it was completely sorted. I somehow doubt she'd have got the same level of card over there! In my experience, anyway....

Neither leaving nor remaining will solve all our problems, there are pro's and con's for each option, people must now decide which issues concern them most.

Personally, I'd have liked the option of voting for the free movement of goods and people and nothing beyond that, after all that's what we originally signed up to.

    Sadly, that's not an option.

So a foreigner living in the UK for the past 50 years shouldn't get a vote ? Anyone who lives in this country and pays tax deserves to vote

You may have missed the sarcasm in my post and/or haven't read the previous pages of the thread.

For me, it's always the economy. Everything else flows from it. Leaving will damage it. Certainly in the short to possibly medium term. After that, who knows? But that's the risk Leave are asking you to take.

In my view, and that of most respected economists, it's an unnecessary risk that's not worth taking.
