Watched second half of Portugal v Austria and it's a very entertaining match, a joy to watch Ronaldo miss a penalty and then have a goal ruled out for offside...
I'm not one of these Ronaldo haters, he's not a likeable character but he is a great player and an amazing professional. But I couldn't supress a grin at the penalty and offside goal. Portugal aren't bringing much to this party.
Neither am I but after his comments about Iceland he's made a rod for his own back. Hungary may reap the whirlwind...
About as one sided 0 - 0 draw ever likely to see......but over 2 games if you create 40 odd chances and only score once as Portugal have done then maybe they don't deserve to go through..... Fancy Iceland to beat Austria and Hungary to get something from Portugal in the final games....
Tired and a a bit dejected after our performance today. All i can say is. When you lose to a far superior team, you can only put up your hand and say fair play to Belgium.
