CUNCO 3rd and FRANKUUS 5th - respectable runs from both and again I think we'll see them both winning at at least this level on the future.

Isomer turned the Newbury form round by about 4lb and may have a future. But I'd imagine Churchill is pretty useful and the first 5 are worth following.

Apparently it took until past Swinley Bottom to pull Cunco up and Gosden says he wants a mile already. 33/1 for the Guineas <wink>

If these are the early season Frankels, everyone else had better be watching out when the late season ones start hitting the track.

If Cunco needs a mile, the Royal Lodge is probably going to turn out to be a three-runner race – and the other two will be Frankels as well!

I wonder how many Coolmore have bred. Ballydoyle could be out of business by the end of the season. The first half dozen in the betting for both the Guineas will be trained by British trainers...

Okay, so I am getting carried away...

Ballydoyle have one in training - an unnamed Colt out of Rosie's Posy.

Coolmore had, I think, 6 breeding rights to Frankel but I'd have to look at the book again to see which mares they sent. They actually bred Cunco, as Chrysanthemum was in their ownership when Frankel covered her, but they sold her with the Colt in utero.

If O’Brien has any they will run on the polytrack at Dundalk in March or April, a rumour will get out that they are his Derby horse and they will be favourite for the Blue Riband ante post before they run in the Derrinstown...

I've done a quick check and think Coolmore were probably involved in the breeding of 10 Frankel 2yos. Because they breed under a variety of pseudonyms it can be hard to tell, plus several of the mares were sold with Frankel offspring in utero so they are not listed as the registered breeder, but I think they were involved in the following:

    CUNCO
    ELUSIVE HAPPINESS
    EMINENT
    MAJORIS
    TOUCH OF PARADISE
    TOULIFAUT
    Filly out of Guessing
    Colt out of Reaching
    Colt out of Rosie's Posy
    Filly out of Song

I'd be interested to know where you found that redcat, next Thursday's races don't close until 24th June so they shouldn't be published until entries have closed.

Must be ground related. They've given him an entry at Brighton next week now.

A couple of Frankel's have been flagged up in the RP's Newmarket 2yos to Watch:

    Dream Castle
    Saeed Bin Suroor
A son of Frankel, who made a blinding start to his stallion career, this colt is already Group 1 entered and in his younger days at Godolphin pre-training he was ridden by Sandeep Gauravaram, the groom who looked after the Sir Henry Cecil-trained champion. One for the autumn but definitely one for the notebook as he's been brought along gently.

    Eminent
    Martyn Meade
This son of the superstar Frankel has looked well worth the 155,000gns Meade laid out at the sales. Originally more of a three-year-old type, Eminent is really shaping up and could be part of the success story before too long.
