Any **** on here actually been to one? I imagine it must me a hotspot of facepainting, 'footy' themed past times and Coldplay vibes. Can't see why anyone travelling to a major foreign city would seek one out when there is good food to be eaten, good bars to drink in, museums / art galleries / sights to see, and hell, if you want to, plastic chairs to throw around. Busman's holiday and all that.
I went to the fan parks in Germany for the 2006 World Cup. They were the next best thing to been at the games
How what? That I can tell you haven't been to one? Well, considering your own posts says you 'imagine' what they must be like gives it away, you cockwomble. If you meant how are they great, well it's because it has all of those things you said - good food to be eaten, good bars to drink in, sights to see, plastic chairs to throw around - all in one place. Also the atmosphere at them is usually top notch. If you're going for the football, you want the best atmosphere you can get - finding some ****ing quiet bistro a couple of miles from the stadium might have some nice food, but you need the circus that is football. Give me a fan park, getting pissed and surround by fans than a quiet pint at a bar a few miles away.
Structure: - question - answer -comment on response So far so good, then it degenerates into tedious namecalling based on comments on response. Suggested actions: responder to calmly accept adverse comments of questioner, typical of forum environments.
They're for people that get on and are friendly. Have a beer and a good laugh with a good atmos and very tolerant and not begrudging. Nothing that would interest you in the slightest City Man.
