I can see him going to Leeds and would be a good move for him, not good enough for us I am afraid. I like they are looking at a young Centre back, it will give him time like Amat to come on. Jenkins vetoed any chance of bony coming back even though he would consider a return to us. Jenkins refused to pay bony's over the top wages that bony wants. so we can forget about him and concentrate on finding two strikers that will fit into Jenkins wage structure that is proving to be a barrier for quality. It the same for Allen, we have been pissing around when we should have gone straight in and done a deal and now we find 5 clubs so far with more expected after the Euros including Brendan's Celtic. So how this one will turn out i could not hazard a guess.....I am not impressed with Guildo's transfer dealings so far but i suspect being a yes man it will all be down to Jenkins....

This goes to show that jenkins has lost the plot when it comes to signing players.......it must be at least two or three weeks now that every man and his dog knew that Liverpool are willing to let Allen go for £10m and what did Jenkins do ??? He went and offered £8m for him which Liverpool rightly imo Laughed off the offer and for the sake of £2m have probably scuppered our chances of getting him. Joe Allen is worth £10m and more all day long and with 3 more teams 2 of which are good foreign teams have now entered the race for Allen making a total of 8 teams now then he is likely to go to the highest bidder that will exceed £10m. If Jenkins would not be so stupid and Offered Liverpool the £10m (a snip) 3 weeks ago before any other interest from other clubs after seeing him in the euros then he would probably be in the swans squad by now.......Jenkins can be such a fool sometimes...
Dai spot on there, I am sure Roof and HJ are one and the same he was in the wait camp and you will get him cheaper, if we are not careful it will either end up costing us more than 10m or he will go somewhere else after the way he has played in the Euros.
Dai you are right when you see what the teams who should be our rivals are spending and I'm not talking about relegation rivals. Huw needs to stop shopping in Poundstretcher and live in the real world. and pay decent money for decent players to strengthen the team and not pay chicken feed just to strengthen the squad.
You would not think that we struggled scoring goals last season and the way we are shopping around in the bargain basement that we are in our 6th season in the premiership......It is as if Jenkins is trying to prove a point that we can always shop for the cheapest deals going......Well imo i think he is wrong and when i look around and see other clubs snapping up good players like Townsend and others i fear we could be in trouble if Jenkins don't come to his senses soon.....
Fully agree. I don't care who we sign next season, if we don't get Bony or a striker of his quality and Joe Allen to naturally replace Leon alongside Cork, we are ****ed. Townsend is another we should be signing.
