I shat myself every time someone ran at him yesterday. He has a brain fart all the time and just wants to dive in at his man.
The one hope I take from these Euros, is that some players out their might fancy nailing the colours to our mast and not England, they may think that we are a team that can qualify for major championships.
What I don't get with him is he has pace, against Russia he was going forward at speed gets over the halfway line and instead of keeping going he stops!! You might slaughter me on this but Milner would be better, gives the attacking intent but also a defensive stability to the side.
Yeah I do like Milner, Adam Lallana does this aswell, real workhorse,, but people always moan about him playing
Spain looked very very tasty, fair play. On the Taylor front, it was pretty obvious England were targeting that side. You don't have to wonder why.
Milner is as fast as a snail and passes sideways and backwards, I wasn't surprised Russia scored just after he came on and, IIRC, he also lost the ball that led to their goal. That said Sterling has been guilty of everything you say, but I'm not sure who else there is to take his place. The best English winger atm is Michail Antonio, 8 goals from 26 games, mostly filling in as a RB, sadly he wasn't in the papers so Woy didn't take a look. I'm hoping all the bollocks around Russia atm will negatively affect their players, suspension hanging over their heads and their country being booted out of the Olympics will hopefully sap their morale, which will be highly ironic after the Russian hooligan element said the point in attacking fans was to sap their opponents morale) I wouldn't discount Italy from doing well either, they have perfected the art of cheating
