Alan Partridge was awful. So glad he no longer does sports commentary. I don't like Clive Tyldesley either.
Jonathan Pearce is the worst, there's nobody as bad as him. Never forgot how he was on about 37 year old Paul Mcshanes creaking limbs, and he just sits there reading his wikipedia notes most games boring people to tears. Last match I heard he was on about two players not liking each other, seemed to mention it about 25 times for no real reason.
Can't stand Martin Tyler; he was obviously a TWS fan when he was on Calendar. John Helm however is a gent.
Tyldesley is a massive ring piece. Martin Tyler is a boring old twat. I quite like that Mowbray bloke. Endex.
I know he's only a pundit but I haven't got a clue what Lothar Matthaus is saying. No matter what your football pedigree is, surely being understandable is a pre-requiste for anyone paid for their expert opinion (appreciate it's not his first language!).
Best is Stewart Robson. Worst is Tyldesley. I like Danny Higginbothom and Jermaine Jenas as a summariser.

I remember Tyldesley commentating on the City Cup final. Early on in the game when we were 1, maybe 2 up, he said something like "hull are taking every opportunity to slow the game down." A flabbergasted (and polite tbf) Townsend said (ish) "well, when they need to Clive, but they've been at Arsenal since the start." Or something like that. It's as if Tyldesley had some pre match negative words to use re City. And used them anyway even when City took the lead. Yeah, he's a dick certainly.
