My favourite city one (with the exception of the sponsor) was the black Adidas cash converters away kit. I also have a soft spot for the Bonus tiger stripe kit.

Away from City, I loved the blue Umbro England 3rd strip from Italia 1990 and the Kappa Juve kit when Sony were the sponsor!

Now I have seen the England shirt again, I'm not convinced but loved it when I was a young lad...I'm not even sure New Order can pull it off.

The Hull city kit i generally like most is the last black and amber striped kit we wore.

The matchwinner shorts from the Riding Bitter kit were of a similar 'hot pant' cut!

I saw Freddie and the Dreamers as part of one of those tours you got with a load of acts on in 1964. Rather surprisingly when he stopped clowning around he was better than you would have thought as, when he was being serious, he had a fairly decent voice and could perform well live.

I was introduced to Freddie Garrity once, when I was a kid.

I had no ****ing idea who he was.

This demented, bespectacled loon appeared in front of me, hopping about like a speed freak frog dancing on a bed of hot coals.

My natural reaction was to twat him.

My social conformity gene dicated that I stand there in stunned silence and grin.

    I'm still having nightmares.
