That's a big statement... not for me, he was brilliant yesterday mind, but for me, one of Spurs' weakest players last season. Defensively, needs a lot of work, which is why I reckon he had such a great game yesterday, he barely had to defend at all.
Poor all game imo, the forwards saved his bacon by being even worse. I thought Lallana was the far better of the two and was unlucky to be the one to make way. Hope Woy keeps getting lucky tho, dont want him to loose his job just yet, we need Sam for a year or two.
We need to periodically remind the F.A. about Pardew's brilliance, and/or the fact that John Carver is the best Premier League Manager ever
Must be it, not sure why he's picked one that looks as daft as that mind. Looks like he pinched it from some little kid having a swim in his hotel's pool. You see a lot of these sort of things these days, it used to just be Edgar Davids with his goggles but now every other game someone's got some kind of headgear on. They'll be wearing diamanté studded cowboy hats before you know it.
I thought for a moment there that guy had been blown up by a grenade when the firework went off and he went flying.
Yeah I'm sure he'll wear it for the rest of career, I remember hearing that he hasn't needed to wear it for years but it's a psychological issue now as the head injury was so bad. Fair enough.
