Utter fantasy - never going to happen. There's enough money floating about in offshore accounts to make everyone in Britain a millionaire, including all the Romanians, Poles, Syrians etc. claiming benefits. The fact that the Sun, Daily Mail, Telegraph et al. have convinced so many Britons that the social services, NHS etc. cannot survive immigration is testament to the stupidity of yer average Brit.

You're getting your economic migrants and asylum seekers mixed up. Very few Europeans turn up with one set of clothes and battered shoes, let alone getting here by hanging on to the bottom of a lorry. EU members stroll in. Many non-EU migrants turn up at Calais, only to find themselves in another hell.

This country discriminates between the two, yet the majority of EU immigrants could return to a safe homeland. Asylum seekers seldom enjoy such a luxury.

There's a huge difference.

As mere plebs, we can only do so much. We'll never empty the offshore accounts of Cameron and his cronies, so we must work with what we have.

The majority of EU immigrants could happily return to their home nations, yet the poor buggers in Calais do not have the same luxury.

A curb on EU immigration would (or could) allow a greater number of the most desperate to enter this country.

We can't do both at the moment. And no amount of moaning about how the rich are getting richer will change that fact.
