Same here, he's been great.

To be honest since he's come to England he's been a breath of fresh air. Seems like a honest/harsh genuine bloke. If I was a player I'd like someone like him as a manager.

Very fun but very serious too.

Does seem the kind of manager you'd want to play for.

we had many a player whine about rafa, a lot of it was they were not really willing to do the work but they described him as cold and not giving them any reason hwy he'd turn on them

I think a player with the maturity and work ethic (rare these days it seems... look at gotze) would great like to work with a guy who's going to tell you the thing straight up.

There a large part of the game about dancing round the harsh reality.

TBH i felt sorry for Sterling he is so short of confidence it was almost painful to watch. I have no idea what Hodgson was thinking of when he selected him apart from the fact that the squad is pretty unbalanced as he just picked players with no idea how they would fit into the team and so we have the ridiculous situation we are trying to work out
a) formation to play
b) best team for that formation
during the bloody tournament :headbang:

even if we end up doing well it will be more luck than good judgement

I did not feel one iota of sympathy for the drug taking, nast nasty rich kid

hodgsons fault for all of that yes but its not anything out of the ordinary.

But they are all performers...

Look they were second in group to NI which isn't great but does that mean Hungary are no good having won a game.

The fact is they drew with Italy and Spain pre tournament and gave france a decent game. They didn't just sit back from the off.

We will see what happens in the group but their results don't indicate that they are ****e

I agree that this romanian side are handy. That is down to them being a good team rather than having brilliant individuals whereas i think the Swiss side are much the opposite.

You know pre tournament doesnt count, England won all there games and we know they are pony

you know what i'd like.... I'd like sturrdige to stand up and thank LFC and klopp for getting him properly fit. Well Klopp really. Jsut stand up and say hey I could have been still injured all the time but they worked with me and i'm grateful... just a little thing.

Was reading that he selected Sterling in a similar situation when they selected Shearer when he hadn't scored for two years. shearer said being told that he was starting gave him the confidence to believe he was good enough. Hasn't worked with Sterling though who looks as if his confidence is at an all time low.
