Slightly off topic but last time I was in Orlando I stayed in the Villa belonging to the CEO of Wolves as I used to work with his brother.
I bought an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle in Philly in 7 minutes... please log in to view this image That's how long it took me to buy an AR-15, the semiautomatic rifle used in the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. Seven minutes. From the moment I handed the salesperson my driver's license to the moment I passed my background check. It likely will take more time than that during the forthcoming round of vigils to respectfully read the names of the more than 100 people who were killed or injured. It's obscene. http://www.philly.com/philly/column...i-automatic_rifle_in_Philly_in_7_minutes.html
eric from usa @ericschmerick Ban gay clubs and muslims and orlando and men and dancing so this never happens again --not assault rifles though we need those.
The Trumper has announced he wants to prevent folk on the terrorist watchlist obtaining weapons,AND, he's going to talk to the NRA about it. Seems that's been the NRA's position all along. Good to see a US presidential candidate who's really up to speed.
Never felt not safe when i lived in scarborough to be honest . Though like most places its got a drug problem. The gulls can be bastards at times but those on the harbour in brid are the worst.
Kinell. The gulls were bad last time I went there but if that's true, things are a whole lot worse now.
I used to hitch from Darlo to Scarborough for the weekend back in the day. We used to sleep rough on the flat part of the life boat house roof. Boozing and dancing at the Odeon bar. Breakfast of a bacon bap and a big mug of tea at a cafe near the bus station ... happy days. Whitby's good too but the seagulls **** with unerring accuracy!
Not unusual for that type of thing. I mean if I posted every time someone was shot and killed on the local news I would literally be posting every day.
