Fully real mate, he's a 'Godzilla Lizard' I think, it lives in water... must have fancied a brew and a banana.
Back in 1977/78 ish my Grandmother had a massive house in Chester-le-Street with a studio and practice rooms in the basement set up by a couple of my uncles. My uncle Tom was in a band back in the 70's called "Goldie" who released one hit in 77 (I think) calle "Making up again" which got to number 7 in the charts. A guy called Dave Black (died quite recently) played lead guitar and I was fascinated by him as a child and a lad called Pete McDonald who sang for the group. Watching them practice is one of my earliest memories and I have no idea how old I was but it is still quite vivid in my mind watching a band that had been on TOTP playing in my Grandma's basement!!
No mate and I think that's a misconception which is why we haven't requested a ban for crumble as I guess he wasn;t aware either. As much as I like the picture - we're not allowed it on here as it is borderline porn! (we don;t make the rules though, just have to enforce them and take the **** when it happens!)
i don't know the rules, maybe it was a bit risky, it was mainly posted for the background scenery though
Hahaha!! Love it - no bother mate I've taken it down as the foreground bit was the problem - (have saved a personal copy though in case anyone asks questions about it so I can describe the background scenery if you like?)
Good stuff mate, so it just developed from there. My grandma had a snooker table, well it was my grandpa's actually, it was in his attic, the room was huge but he loved snooker so he put one in when he built his house, it's probably still there now... anyway, I digress... I'm **** at snooker.
I'll always be a singer that plays guitar rather than a guitarist that sings (i.e. no shredding the frets on my strat but I'll be in tune on every song and can show off a bit with the rock classics like this one which opens my second half now:
