So Russia's prime athletes are unlikely to appear in Rio with a ban implemented by the IAAF whose president is Lord Coe. Shall we take a little look how he became President? On 16 June 2016, the BBC claimed that its television programme Panorama "has learnt that Lord Coe won the presidency of the International Association of Athletics Federations with the help of the man at the centre of the sport's doping scandal." Double standards by the look of things. And shall we look at the time when he won all those athletic titles? No serious competition from the leading African nations whose athletes would surely have left him getting a bronze instead of his clutch of golds!!
Yes, I saw that programme also. He does seem to have been given a leg-up and assurances from people with dodgy dealings. Does not reflect well.
