Sterling was poor again, Man City must wonder why they paid so much for him. Walker was excellent and Rooney controlled the midfield. For Wales Williams and Chezzy were excellent, and Ramsey had a good game.
Can't be arsed to read 17 ****ing pages. This'll have been said already, indeed I said it yesterday, but Kane and Sterling shouldn't have been anywhere near the starting eleven. On the pitch lost one nil. Off the pitch won two nil. On the pitch lost one nil. Off the pitch won two nil. On the pitch lost one nil. Off the pitch won two nil. On the pitch lost one nil. Off the pitch won two nil. Got the idea, Woy? It's not ****ing rocket science. It's not even football science. It's just ****ing obvious.
Northern Ireland were bloody excellent in closing out that game. I missed their goal, but tuned in just after and I thought they defended really well but also pressed effectively to stop Ukraine settling on the ball too much. A lot of teams struggle to do that. Lack of pressing is a pet hate of mine in football. The second goal was excellent too.
It's one thing that you'd expect from a team! It doesn't matter if you're not the most talented! But you can deffo teach them how to press the ball!
I missed all the games today except for the brilliant & exciting Germany v Poland which I watched whilst having dinner. I did manage to listen to the England game on 5Live, well the first half & then Wales scored & I did the mature thing & politely applaud the goal whilst driving. I certainly didn't go into a sulk & turn the radio off & then check my phone all the time whilst shopping! I've just watched the highlights, I thought they were ****e highlights for about 15 minutes, if that was how the game was I would have turned it off. But the goals, Wales were helped by Hart being ****e for that shot. He should never have been beaten by that shot! Hopefully Roy has worked out that playing 2 strikers gets results!
Donate to bring home Sterling... https://crowdfunding.justgiving.com/BringRaheemHome?utm_id=106&utm_term=bJQa6rdeJ Bit mean.
I was driving back to Manchester, missed the first half, then they scored, so thought **** it, don't want to listen to anymore or watch it, I'll go shopping! It was Costco, so not your average shop!
Could not agree more ^^^^ this John. I would also add that Joe Hart needs to get rid of walls from that far out. WOY got lucky. In fact i bet it was Gary Neville who played a big part in what happened at half-time. Have we stumbled on a winning formula though ? twt.....
