When i was a kid we used to visit my great aunt (in L*t*n)...she had been like a mum to my dad during the way. Great Christmases were had around her very tight dining room table, with food heaving from every corner, there wasn't a spare bit of tablecloth, but...it was all traditional Jewish food, it was almost a rebellion thing lol. When i was older, my parents used to go away for Christmas and new year, so i started getting invited to friends to celebrate with them, i loved it, but it never really sat comfortably. Now, we get together with family, and we have a big lunch, but it's far more like the old L*t*n lunches than anything resembling Christmas dinner. Mr H does like his turkey though, so now and again i'll succumb and do something more Christmassy.
Purim ...or...Passover...it could be Elijah lol...but purim is far more fun...it's a rule of the festival to get drunk...! lol
OFH, does the PMU not even interest itself in the Premiership? Does it just control betting on French domestic stuff?
