i had a bone growth on my big right toe that pushed my nail up when i was 15, had to have the bone cut out and my toe nail removed. it now grows at a slightly squiffy angle and is about 4mm thick so need bolt croppers to cut it. best thing though was that i was off school for 4 weeks.
