Awful news, if this occurred in the USA we would probably just shrug our shoulders and say just another shooting. These things don't happen here as a norm thankfully but when they do it really shocks the entire nation, and rightly so. My thoughts are with her family and especially her two young children.

Murders happen all the time in both countries, more over here of course, but political assassinations are rare, so even in this country it we wouldn't just shrug our shoulders as you put it.
