What worries me is Coleman's lack of tactical nous. This England team is very decent indeed but they have a dodgy back line yet there was very little intention to get forward and test them. I'll say it again you can't defend like that for practically the whole game. I'm amazed it was only 2-1 to be honest.
Agree, he's not the sharpest tool in the box, he could have brought a sub on to wast time at the end, but sitting deep all the second half was very poor, Bale hardly had a pass second half.............
All you've got to do is draw with Russia to qualify, we should have battered them and I'm still not quite sure how we didn't. You should roll them over. I suspect we'll beat Slovakia - not confident by any means but feel we might - in which case you could lose by a goal and could still go through in third place. It's far from over, odds are heavily on that you're qualifying for the next round.

Not seen the game yet just had it on radio in work, Bale scoring from way out was fantastic and i bet you england fans were just a bit worried ? I was looking forward to woy and the team getting slaughtered in the media but fair do`s they must have got a hell of a lot better to nick it right at the death ? Hope we both go through now and maybe meet again in future rounds for another rare game against each other especially at this level.
Yeah he probably should have called the sub on. Possession wise you couldnt seem to hold onto the ball so I don't know if you could have stopped the winner even with a new player. Maybe only with tactical changes but your manager drew a line in the sand at the start and stuck with it. Those tactics invited possession. Our problem was we couldn't create clear chances due to the lack of space as you were backs to the wall. It's tough to summarise. In a way I'm a little disappointed you didn't attack more and have more of a go. After all the Bale big talk you turned up with tactics a minos would use rather than that of a balshy rival. Having said that had you attacked a lot that would have given us the space we required. I actually think a team coming on to us will suit us a lot better. As it happened a sucker punch and all out defence almost worked. It was important for us to win. You'll beat Russia.
