poor valley.... though he'd be wumming like **** if the result was 0-1.

I won't wum wales any more though... I was just bantering earlier for the bit of fun on the boards

Seriously?

I thought that was one of the poorest performances of the tournament myself. After such a positive start to the tournament they've just shown their small team mentality. Very poor tactics from Coleman.

They'll go through I think, purely down to that first game. Any big team will beat them though.

was it worse than albania?

I thought they sat back too deep and england were there in that first half for the taking.

Theres many ways to skin a cat but i just felt they didn't break well and hit england hard.

Delli Ali has been poor in 2 games now. I'd being him for Wilshire in next game.

Vardy and Sturridge have to start, Kane has done nothing (not al his fault, service to him hasn't been great) and sterling has been poor.

Got the win, but first goal was set up by their defence and 2nd was a bit of a scramble (although top finish from Sturridge taking it early).

We were never properly tested at the back. I kind of understand Wales plan, especially when 1-0 up. A draw would have left them in driving seat so why try push on and open up when we were struggling to break them down?

Hoping both teams win their last games <ok>

Albania, Iceland and Wales all played a similar style. All very poor, only Iceland managed to scrape a draw but tbh that was purely down to Ronaldo and co not performing.

I get the idea of playing for a point in tournament football (especially now 3rd place can get you through), But over 90 mins against good quality it's so hard.

Prob agree on whilshire. I know is is not any good defensively but whilshire is at least somewhat experienced at a european level in CL and should play a bit btter.

Vardy and sturrdige or at least one of them should start. Its a bit strong on kane. he is good but i think will benefit from a partner.

well... yeah...

Iceland did right v portugal.
Albania really fought hard v France who've such a huge squad to pick out of.
Wales beat slovakia well enough.. i just felt they went a wee bit negative having won that first game. I didn't quite expect that. I expected hard press and work rate...
