Not sure how to read this one. Chancel saying Benitez has made him a better player and thanks him for it, seems reasonably happy that he played 30+ games last season as well so my heart tells me he will stay on. Him and Lacselles are pivitol to our back four next year and keeping would probably be bigger than any signings we make for me personally. Loved the partnership they got going before the end of the season. He's too good for the Championship, but I'm desperate for him and Lascelles to stay. We've got rid of Saylor, so we're bare-bones there but my personal opinion is we have to make Dummett a CB and invest some actual money at LB. That would only leave us short by one CB in my opinion, but the question is do we just stick with Colo for his last year as backup and experience/coaching? I think that would make sense. His best season came at that level and do we really want to be spending when Lascelles/Mbemba have made such a solid case for being the partnership of choice this season and beyond?
Of course and as I'm a reasonable lad, I'd only ask for a fiver each game from each fan otherwise you can come but have to wear a blindfold.
