I think Slovakia may have silenced a few this eve. Did a professional job on Russia for an underdog. Though i only saw the first 2/3s of the match.
Didn't see the game mate just the goals, but I said before tournament they'd be half decent so no surprise to me. They've always got ability these sides they just seem to lack concentration and gift goals.
It was 2-0 when I left it so couldn't comment on russia's goal. But the slovac's look like they can can dig deep and suprise folk.
Aye if you have the calibre of Hamsik you have a chance, pace down the wings as well and a couple o Bundesliga defenders. Credit Wales for beating them cos they are more than decent.
Look like they've got the the skills and spirit to finish above(or at least deliver some comp) the english or the welsh. England shot themselves in foot drawing with the weakest team in the group imo.
Thought Slovakia were lucky in the end, against a poor russia team. Was a decent game. Russia had most of the ball, but both Slovakia goals were good. 2nd one gets the plaudits (fine goal) but the first one for me. Must have been a 40/50m pass. And then Weiss (never heard of him) did the business. Think Slovakia will come a cropper sooner or later. Game of the tournament so far for me has been Turkey v Croatia. Superb goal. Loads of blood. Dirty Turks. Cracking athmosphere. It had the lot. Also the refs have done well in most (not all) of the games.
Weiss was at Man City as a young lad, had a bit of ability, quick, direct. Sadly like Gyan took the Arab money very young. Says a lot about a player as we know.
Sterling is ****ing ****e. This is so comfortable for Wales, can see them really hurting us on the break.
