Well thank the stars. An exceptionally dull summer of football free time is nearly over. I know there have been the youth tournaments and the women's euros but still, not compulsive TV. Having been a season ticket holder for countless years now, looking back on last season I view it as one of our most important to date. How would we respond to relegation from the premiership. How could we establish firm ground on an uneven financial footing. New manager. Inherited team. Uncertain outlook. We had a mightily bad start to the season yet managed to establish a decent enough finish. I still believe Ash shouldn't have gone. He was one part of the legacy which was positive. Now, given NP has built his squad and it looks like a great new team I think this could be the year we have been waiting for for the lady 3 seasons. Exciting football. Committed and hungry squad. Clear leadership. Winning ways. I firmly believe we will be top 2 this season. For years we have been cannon fodder to a large extent - who doesn't like a laugh at Hull - I've just read Jimmy Carr on twitter and called him a c*nt - guess I'll get blocked! I think we will be one of those yo yo teams, maybe better and it'll do for me. Can't wait until Friday. It can't come too soon. UTT Amber and black forever. Oh and Kit - not as bad as I thought! Away kit - when on sale, reminds me of a kit I had when I played in the Tottenham youth team circa 1982 - ace! Oh and Bullard. Please resolve quickly either way.
I admire your optimism, I'm not quite as confident of making the top 2 but I hope you're right! We can expect a realistic play-off charge this year.
