You said if Gylfi leaves there's a 'bigger plus'. I'll tell you again, if Gylfi leaves (see the IF I've posted again) then there is no plus at all for us. Now read my post over a few times before replying.
I said IF he doesn't stay WE WILL GET GOOD MONEY FOR HIM .....AND ...A BIGGER PLUS IS IF SIGGY LEAVES AND AYEW STAYS, IT SOLVES THE " WHERE TO PLAY AYEW PUZZLE " ....referring to it being a bigger reason than the money ....read twice post once . To not think that the money ( probably 20 million ) isn't a plus , regardless , isn't thinking anyways ., considering we only payed the equivalent 10 to 12 million for Siggy .
The money isn't as important than staying up, I don't really want to be loaded and in the Championship. Keeping our best players is the most important thing and Siggy is one of them
The thing lefty is IF Siggy really wants to leave , we may not have much say in it AND we have to look at what positives we can take from it . Right from the beginning I said want to keep Siggy and I always get tagged as I want him to go ...I DON'T , but we have to be ready for all scenarios .
Why? He's under contract, slap a £25 million tag on him because that is what he's worth too us and he stays.
Well , there are a lot of release clauses these days for starters . And even if there isn't , do you want to keep a player that wants to leave .
Jeez , I wonder where all the police and concern was when England played Russia .... before and after ... Inside and outside the stadium.
.................You cannot be serious.................. Wouldn't have anything to do with English fans gathered at the Train station ready to confront Russian fans, now would it?..............
Back to real football. Just because there is a release clause and the club looking to sign the player activates it doesn't mean that player has to sign for the buying club. In the end it's the player who makes the final decision.
confirmed on BBC that Palosci has gone to Atlanta for undisclosed fee. Min 2 strikers needed now - 3 if Gomis goes (or even stays!!).
Perhaps Ayew is going to start up top as FG has stated he sees him in this role. If Gomis stays I don't see him as a starter so I it seems virtually everyone thinks we need another striker.except perhaps for Huw.
For me the only reason Gomis will stay is if nobody on the planet is willing to take him.....and that seems a possibility.
Ayew as our main striker will be Premier League suicide IMO. Good cover in that position but we need at least a competent out and out striker on our books.
Worked at the end of the season as we had no choice and nice to have as a back up striker, but agree to go into the season with him as our main striker is crazy, but wouldn't surprise me. Mind you what we have been linked with is absolutely piss poor.
this one doesn't look to bad, but how much. http://www.insidefutbol.com/2016/06...o-mix-for-west-ham-linked-simone-zaza/291123/
