Bit of an odd one this but 'my dog tulip' is well worth a watch. Cartoon animation gets a bit weird, in line with the story, and the narrative is fantastic.
It's a very good attempt to put a book with a complex story, and characters, onto the big screen - and let's be honest, how can it fail with Francesca Annis in it?
I've only just - as in today - realised that there's a new Independence Day film coming out. How has this happened? It seems mental that one of the worst films ever made gets a sequel 20 years later. If its purely about money, why didn't they do it earlier? Or are they hoping we've all forgotten how **** the first film was?
Day 166, film 166, "raging bull", just seen it In my lads collection, darts tonight so watching It now.......
Day 167, film 167,"Jurassic park", my grandson is here and wanted to watch it,that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it......
Totally agree about eye in the sky. Would of liked to of seen it at the pics but as I'm Billy no mates and my mrs said no ****ing way she would go with me again, all I did was tell some morons to shut the **** up and watch the film. Apparently I embarrassed her, short memory love, remember last years New Year's Eve party!!!!! It was the food and not the 3 bottles of wine she had!!!!!!!
Oh come on, Bill Pulman's President's speech must be the worst 2 minutes in cinema history. And then you've got the drunk alien abductee crop duster leading the battle charge against intergalactic visitors not to mention the good old US saving the world again as the RAF look on saying 'by jove, if they can do it so can we'.
I think there's a bucket overflowing with ****e films that it's pointless trying to put in any order; just label them ****e, that'll do.
Another one From lads collection, cannot believe this film is over 20 years old. I've only seen it once,a million years ago, **** me I was 34 at the time..... Day 168, film 168," the usual suspects"
Apparently The Usual Suspects cost only $6million to make and Roger Ebert the recently deceased film critic gave it 1.5 out of 4 stars. Goes to show don't trust critics or reviews, make up your own mind!
I always found The Usual Suspects to be a average film with an unbelievably fantastic twist. Saying that, I do need to rewatch it, I don't think I've seen it for the best part of a decade.
I agree with him on this based on my last viewing of the film. Ebert is the best film critic in history. Every reviewer has one or two opinions you will disagree with - I bet if you look up his reviews of your fave films, you'll be in agreement with him.
Bloody babysitting again, just watching Netflix ...cartoons at 3 when grandson come home from nursery but first... Day169, film169," today's special"... Cooking themed film...
