Not a worrier - a realist. Don't see too many championship clubs being sold and maybe PL has spoiled us but the standard of championship football in the season just gone wasn't great. For me if we had lost the play off final we would not only have lost the majority of the players who started at Wembley, meaning an almost total rebuild of the squad, but as a consequence would have struggled to mount any kind of promotion push this season. I'm not happy to settle for mid table championship and I think that's what we'd be looking at had we lost to the Wendies. It's getting harder every season to get promoted from the championship and at least we know if we get relegated this season we will have the £££££ to invest in the squad the season after. Allams won't sell at a loss and I doubt they would raise the money they want if we had remained a championship club.
It is a first class summary of everything that has gone on by what is probably quite a few peoples view. It would be interesting reading to see something similar written by the Allams on their perception of what has gone on. It may then make it a bit easier to understand how their "logic" works. They could title their piece of literary genius "All fans are ****s!"
