What's a funny film/tv show to you? I remember everybody banging on about The Hangover when it first come out, so I watched it expecting to need a sick bag from laughing so hard and it was about as funny as watching Holby City on mute.

Some things on here make me laugh, stupid things usually. People who can laugh at themselves usually end up giving you the biggest laughs that last so long they hurt.

Classic comedy is good, for a chuckle, I wasn't around for much of it, but I like a lot of it.

The thread is for light hearted laughter, if you wanna contribute chuck yours in, those who don't usually maybe want to add something (there's a lot of people who think they have nothing to add cos others have said what they would have said etc, well maybe you can contribute here, where everybody is sure to have something).

One of my favourite ever scenes, prompted by one of our posters last week...

I do like the comedy panel shows like QI and Would I lie to you. Modern Family is very funny.
Best comedy movies, Life of Brian, Ferris Buellers Day Off, Planes Trains and Automobiles, used to love John Candy, his laugh was very infectious. Oh and I can't miss out Faulty Towers
Getting the giggles when your high with your mates is the best.

I like pretty much all the classic shows like Fawlty Towers and Only Fools, the Monty Python films etc.

There isn't any type of humour that I like the most, I'm happy with a bit of slapstick or something surreal. I don't tend to actually laugh much at stuff on TV (although I do watch a lot of comedy) unless I'm in a really good mood, most comedy for me results in smiles and a few nose snorts. Maybe there is something out there that'll be a real thigh slapper for me but I haven't seen it yet.

And yeah I agree The Hangover was way over hyped. I really liked Eastbound and Down but not seen it for years.

Camping was a hoot, weird format, Humnaby was also enjoyable the Xmas specials were terrific stuff, seems to be a conection with League of Gentlemen which was patchy imo.

I always look out for Python.
Blackadder was good but has been done to death on Dave / Gold.
At present I am enjoying "Rovers" on Sky.
    Simpsons

    A billion others, actually.

Anyone watch Task Master on Dave?
