So why have we let him go, if Guidolin thought he was the answer he would be staying, just simply a poor short term signing that failed.
Fer brings a lot more than set pieces too , but he's heads above Allen in one of our most serious problems ...set pieces and corners at both ends . Fer can also play many positions . Try to push Fer ( the bouncer ) around on the pitch , compared to Allen .. Although there is no comparison
Bit off topic but is daiswan banned ? . There is a prediction league that Dai is on on the Premier board . Can you lift his ban cause he has to make new predictions ...please
I give up roof I think what I see and clearly what you see are totally opposite ends of the scale. If fer gives us so much at set pieces defensively why were we bootom in terms of conceding goal from them Again total bollox. I am off to bed as it is pointless. I know you cant but if you watched a game live instead of on tour computer maybr you would see it differently. I would agree with you that I would like fer, but he is nowhere near where Joe is. His other 2 appearances with clubs, guess what he has been relegated twice, lets hope it isn't a third.
Because he doesn't want to play for us IMO , rest assured Guidolin doesn't want him to go but knows you shouldn't keep a player who doesn't want to stay .
I give up to but I can't go to bed at 4:15 pm. Fer shouldn't be punished for years of bad set pieces and all of this season either as he came in late . But if you can't see how many balls he cleared from set pieces when he played ...you should go to bed
Roof you sound my late mother she couldn't understand how expensive things had become in the shops. With the big boys now spending 60-100 million on players we need to forget cheap. Our starting point needs to be 10-15 million. Bargains like we had in the past are going to become rarer than a hen's tooth.
We will see...when we were making money on players like Bony and such we were just keeping our head above water fianacially . Staying up or not ... We need to get back to practical . Paying 15 to 20 million for Allen with a single season left on his contract isn't . Hunting for good players that we can advantage through finacial situations is what we need to get back to . Sorry , brain over heart decisions .
We need to hold onto our best player, like Siggy, media speculation about him going to the Foxes is laughable............
I hope you get that right, I think if he wants 1 short season of CL then h may move, but I just don't think he will and I am not sure he is suited to their style.
My biggest worry with Siggy and Leicester is he knows he won't ride the bench and being at the current champions and knowing he will start most games may to appealing to him .
I am not so sure he will start most games, a lot will depend on who they keep and who they lose, Leicester play a counter attack game, breaking with pace and a slightly longer ball. This would definitely not suit Siggy. I think he will be here next season.
I hope Siggy stays also .....but , if he doesn't it means good money for him ( sorry , money is part of everything ) and a bigger plus is if Siggy leaves and Ayew stays , it solves the " Where to play Ayew puzzle ) . Again , before I get attacked , I hope Siggy stays .
I don't like Ayew in that hole where Siggy plays, it has been tried and it simply didn't work last season. I think if Ayew stays he will be used more as a striker next year. Where as if Siggy goes he will have to be replaced.
All about opinions , I see Ayew being perfect there and see him less useful as a striker . Although a player of Ayew's ability is pretty good everywhere . Also , hanging onto Ayew is another thing .
