All the women and children getting hurt as well as the law-abiding football fans, restaurant owners and the general public deserve to get hurt because of Cass Pennant..
I am ashamed to share the same forum as you.

We've said we'll lift the no politics rule for a single thread on the day of the vote, just as we did for the general election.

Ah cool, cheers OLM. I did not see it posted anywhere. Hopefully we have an 'In house not606' vote. Thank you.

If you're a Danny Dyer wannabe and you go looking for a ruck then you deserve all you get. Seeing a fat bearded gobshite who thinks he's a 'bit tasty' get a slap from these Russian beserkers would indeed be amusing.

    No arguments.

Unfortunately it looks as if these Russian hooligans are targeting innocent fans who aren't interested in fighting and that's far from amusing.

I'm not on about the incident inside the stadium or the incidents where innocent people have been set upon in the street, or in bars.

However, it's an indisputable fact that there are always plenty of England fans who play the big 'I am' with their provocative, xenophobic chanting and generally ****ty, drunken behaviour.

They're arseholes. Watching them getting schooled IS amusing.

Define xenophobic chanting at an international match?

For example am I OK to sing Rule Britannia?

Rule Britannia is better than the stuff about the IRA, Ten German Bombers and Sit Down If You Hate The French, which have been aired this week.

This self-loathing by the hair-shirt brigade always makes me laugh.

People sing partisan songs at football often to get a rise out of those listening.

It's football culture- deal with it and embrace it. Too many people getting on the football bandwagon who don't belong on it.

Unless every country is reduced to singing "Let's hope we win the toss".

Perhaps we should sing "We apologise for our imperial past - but don't worry it didn't last"?

I think singing at internationals is different to signing at club games.

I also think Ten German Bombers is embarrassing, unimaginative, ****e, is that seriously the best we can manage?

I was in Germany to watch us play Sweden and everyone was chanting 'your teams ****, but your birds are fit'. at least it showed a bit of humour.

Who gives a **** about imaginative songs? It's not the Eurovision Song contest, ffs.

At the moment the gold-hoarding Swiss are giving it 'Hopp Suisse, Hopp Suisse' and their version of the Italian war cry "Chi non salta, un francese, e', e'.
Repetitive, mildly xenophobic but loud and providing atmosphere.

I never used to wear a gum shield when I played rugby.

    That's how ungay I am.

    Yep, ungay.

    Feel free to use it.

The 200 England fans who've been singing '**** of Russians, the city is ours' all afternoon are currently being tear-gassed and arrested.

This what football should be like. Apparently.
