Without a doubt, but he won't be the first or last to do so. Remember Moyes saying he will sign a new contract in the summer, forgetting to mention he had been tapped up for the United job.
Not really, but beware what you tell the difference read and club when your eye has been caught by something better paying
Got the feeling at the time that Kenwright should have requested an FA enquiry into the tapping up of his club's manager, but he seemed happy with the compo Everton received and is still bezzy mates with Moyes.
Soz, I meant "hush money", it was obvious Fergie had chosen and spoke to him about the OT job while he was still the blues manager, I reckon money changed hands somewhere along the line.
Possibly, possibly not. Moyes had for his previous contract let it run down and signed deep into his final year. So all appeared above board and AF had not indicated he would be jacking in until months after Moyes 'promise'
And now Moyes cant get a job lol... Not that the forker is bothered as it would take a lifetime to spend his compo...along with Martinez....
Tbf to Martinez even though he ended being a crap manager for the blues, he was only there five minutes compared to Moyes, Moyes left Everton after all those years at Goodison like Everton meant nothing to him and started off at OT by showing that to be true with his ****ty cheap bids for Everton players. Can't blame the feller for taking the OT job but lots of Evertonians(i know)weren't happy about the way he went about it. The blues in the pub last week weren't happy that he was given a front row seat at goodison next to Bill for the Bellew title fight.
He acted like a cock when he left and what he did in the months before his departure (when he already knew he was going) was what pissed us off. Many saw him with Kenwright at the Bellew fight and concluded he was a shoo in for a return, that's what caused the fume
