Behave, would be a disastrous signing. Too old and too expensive, everything we should be trying to avoid. Get in young, relatively cheap additions,it's the only way forward !
I've heard that Faurlin is going to join Aston Villa and Burnley have put in a bid for Matty Phillips.
Too expensive, almost certainly, but not sure about too old. He was superb in the final against Sevilla.
Major rumours Sandro has signed for Sporting Lisbon...done deal. Another one bites the dust... Thank you Arry
Sorry Beth, There are also major rumours that Sporting won't agree to his salary demands & that the deal is dead. I think this is one that I will only believe has happened when it is officially announced! I can't trust journalists & ITK's on this move!
QPR agree a fee with Huddersfield for Joel Lynch Rangers are set to make their first signing of the summer after Terriers agree to sell Wales international to Hoops please log in to view this image West London bound: Huddersfield Towns Joel Lynch (R) QPR have apparently agreed a fee for Joel Lynch at Huddersfield Town. The 28-year-old Wales international has a year left to run on his deal, but according to reports, Hoops and the Terriers have reached a compromise over his fee. Lynch played 40 times for Huddersfield last season, scoring only twice, but have a look at this screamer he hit against Charlton a couple of seasons back. Rs released fans favourite Clint Hill at the end of the season, and allowed Gabriele Angella to return to Watford following his loan spell at Loftus Road. It only leaves Nedum Onuoha and Grant Hall as the obvious choices for the central defensive roles. Rangers have previous when it comes to signing Huddersfield after they signed keeper Alex Smithies from Town for £2m last August. http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/qpr-agree-fee-huddersfield-joel-11479149
Correct, got a nice left peg on him. QPR submit new offer for Huddersfield’s Lynch By David McIntyre 15/06/2016 QPR have submitted a second offer for Huddersfield Town defender Joel Lynch. Rangers recently had an approach for the 28-year-old former Nottingham Forest man rejected but remain hopeful of agreeing a deal to sign him. R’s boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink is keen to sign a left-sided centre-back this summer and knows Wales international Lynch from the Dutchman’s spell on the coaching staff at Forest. QPR also want to sign Brentford captain Jake Bidwell despite also having an initial offer for the left-back rejected. http://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-joel-lynch-second-offer-wls-football
im wondering whether we should sell smithies and re invest in a striker,I realise that smithies is a great player but now we have a better goalie in penrise do we need to pay high wages to a player who wont ever play for qpr again
but back to the signing of joel from huddersfield yes a potentially brilliant addition to the squad i hope he is allowed to be an automatic choice in the team
It amazes me that we as a club, offered Sandro so much coin, that no other club anywhere in the world, can negotiate a deal with him.......... and he's not the first from our club in such a position. How any business person could contemplate throwing such ridiculous amounts of money at so many dud players is beyond me. Every club has their complete dud buys but we seem to be drowning with them, most likely, a complete team of grossly overpaid fraudsters. If they were such astute business people in the first place ( to amass their millions ) surely the normal due diligence would come into play .......... obviously not!
