On another note what happened to the french ultras who attacked English fans nothing has been done about them either.with Russia due to hold the next world cup I doubt if many English fans would want to take their families to that.
The poor fan given CPR after being attacked with iron bars on his head by Russian thugs is a Pompey fan - Andrew Bache - aged 50, who is now in an induced coma with probable brain damage. His son is flying to France from Australia, and his brother is travelling from Portsmouth. Completely unprovoked attack. God help English and Welsh fans tomorrow when the Russian thugs arrive ........and God help all European football fans if the World Cup is held in Russia in 2018.......
So its kicked off this evening with England/Wales fans vs the Russians. England and Wales fans were mixing together in and outside a bar when a group of Russians tried their best to provoke them. Bar staff tried to stop England/Wales fans from retaliating. Security and some police tried to remove the Russians. Then England and Wales fans started to provoke the Russians with some songs. I wonder if that will come back and bite them.
I cant believe a Russian MP said "I don't see anything terrible about fans fighting. Quite the opposite, the guys did well. Keep it up!", and these ****ers are hosting the world cup in 2 years. Gotta be mental to go to Russia as an opposition fan
I can see nothing but a bloodbath out there over the night and tomorrow. I have no faith in the French Police being able to make much impact in preventing carnage and possibly serious injury to some poor sod. They have shown themselves to be at best naïve, and at worst inept and useless when dealing with this type of thing, and it is becoming blatantly clear why terrorists appear to be able to come and go at will in France and move around the country undetected. I feel really sorry for the French citizens who deserve better protection by their government agencies than they are receiving. If the state of so called high alert that they are on, following the terrible, recent outrages meant that Policing the European Football Championships was too much for them, and was stretching their resources too far, then they should have had the balls and the decency to admit it, before the tournament started, and asked other countries for help. I will be turning the news on tomorrow morning holding my breath, as I fear for the well being of the many decent English and Welsh football fans that have simply gone to watch some football, and have found themselves trapped within a war zone!

You won't find a Russian who will accept the responsibility for anything that will make their country look bad, unless they had their identity hidden. Their politicians, press officials, manager and players all accusing England fans although all the evidence shows the opposite. BBC news this morning interviewed a Russian who was involved in the fighting and he didn't want his identity known. He said they all been planning this for a year in a military fashion. They went with intent to hurt England fans. They went in small groups to see where the English were and had maps of the area so when they all met up they had an exact location of where to target and also had an escape route. They had whistles which were their signal to start. They were well prepared. So then, how is this Englands fault? It was brave of that Russian to come forward to admit everything but it's easy to do when no one knows who you are as identity hidden. Pointing the finger at the English is easy to do. Make excuses that they were provoked etc is easy to do. But 1 Russian official saying 90% of football fans look for fights and blaming the french police as they are only use to dealing with gay rights parades, along with a thugs confession, really makes Russia look bad which will make Putin very upset.
Yes, he wont like seeing a public figure saying something negative about his country, hense the stupid comments we have seen so far from the Russians
Be interesting to see whether said football official/MP gets used for free kick practice by Vladimir Putin or whether he supports him in which case with a bit of luck they might loose their world cup and their supporters be banned from travelling to which ever country gets to stage it, cant see the middle east countries putting up with that behaviour and they wont get alcohol there either so may be we should stop trying to get the next world cup country changed
