    I've always called them strips. Only started calling them kits when I came on here. The other thing is I don't just want to see the shirt. The shorts and socks are just as important to me. I'm not going to wear any of it personally, but I just don't want my local club players to run out looking like some pub team.

    I've mentioned my hatred of hooped socks. That goes back a long way to when I played for my school and for one season we had blue and yellow hooped socks [cue vomit bag] Thankfully, thereafter we played in white socks. Simple and smart.

    That reminds me of a certain HHGTTG character called Hig Hurtenflurst who told Arthur Dent and Lintilla that they were to be "revoked. K-I-L-L-E-D, revoked."

    And he said it in a cod USA accent too. ;)
